1 Arrive Mumbai

Arrive in Mumbai, meet, assistance and transfer to hotel.

2 Mumbai

After breakfast, proceed to visit the Gateway of India, Mumbai’s principle landmark. Visit Mani Bhavan, Dhobi Ghat and the Crawford Market. Enjoy lunch at Trishna Restaurant. Afternoon is free to explore. In the evening indulge in dinner at The Table, listed in guide to Asia’s best 500 restaurants. (B, L, D)

3 Mumbai / Udaipur

After a late breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Udaipur. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring Udaipur. (B)

4 Udaipur

After breakfast, visit the City Palace, the largest in Rajasthan. Continue with a visit to the medieval Jagdish Temple, with its meticulously detailed carvings. Afterwards, tour the Bougainvillea Contemporary Art Gallery and Mayur Arts center. Experience a genuine Indian meal as you enjoy lunch at Haldiram. The afternoon is free to explore. (B, L)

5 Udaipur / Ranakpur / Jodhpur

This morning drive to Jodhpur en-route stop to visit the Ranakpur Temple – one of the remarkable things about the temple is wonderful play of shadow and light on the nearly 1500 pillars. Continue on your drive to Jodhpur. On arrival, check into your hotel. Dinner tonight is at Indique Restaurant at Pal Haveli, an open air terrarce restaurant from where the city of Jodhpur and the main tourist attraction – the Umaid Bhawan palace, the Mehrangarh Fort, the Jaswant Thada, Clock Tower and the Gulab Sagar are on view at no extra cost! 6 Jodhpur

This morning explore the Mahrangarh Fort. The Fort stands one hundred feet in splendor on a perpendicular cliff, four hundred feet above the sky line of Jodhpur. Optional – Adventure lovers can’t pass up the unique opportunity to go zip-lining with Mehrangarh Fort as the backdrop. The circuit has six zip lines and takes about 1.5 hours to complete. Afternoon is free. (B)

7 Jodhpur / Jaipur

After an early breakfast, drive to Jaipur. On arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of day is at leisure. (B)

8 Jaipur

After breakfast, head to the Amber Fort – one of the most fascinating of the Indian Forts comprising the Palace of Mirrors, Hall of Public Audience and the beautiful gardens. Later, visit the City Palace, and drive past the Hawa Mahal. The next visit will be to the Jantar Mantar – the Observatory, which incorporates multiple buildings of unique geometrical forms, each with a specialized function for astronomical measurement. Tonight, have a truly special dinner experience enjoy an evening with a Rajasthani family. Join the family for a cooking demonstration; take an active part in the preparation of regional dishes, which will be shared at the dinner table. (B, D)

9 Jaipur / Abhaneri / Sikri / Agra

After breakfast, drive to Agra en route stop to visit tje beautiful step wells at Abhaneri. A relic from India’s glorious past, Abhaneri is truly a destination worth a visit, off the beaten track of the Golden Triangle. Lunch stop at The Bagh, a heritage hotel set in 12 acres in Bharatpur. Enjoy lunch in al-fresco setting in their beautiful gardens. Post lunch arrive at the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri – the exquisite city built by Akbar the Great in 1569. Continue your drive to Agra. On arrival, check into your hotel. (B, L)

10 Agra

After breakfast, proceed to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise. The Taj Mahal is one of the seven modern wonders of the world. Later, visit the Agra Fort. The afternoon is free for independent activities. In the evening, it is time to roll up your sleeves for a Mughlai-north Indian cooking demonstration – which you can take part in – followed by dinner. (B, D)

11 Agra / Delhi

After a leisurely breakfast, drive to Delhi. Spend your afternoon with an Indian family at their beautiful home. This is an opportunity to learn more about local life, Indian lifestyle, traditions home life and of course, food. Our culinary expert, Rashmi Marwah, will give you a hands-on experience and teach you the nuances and secrets of preparing India food. The evening is free to explore at leisure. (B, L)

12 Delhi

After breakfast, drive to Chandni Chowk to join your specialist guide who will take you on a walking and culinary tour of Old Delhi. Walk through the narrow alleys of Old Delhi, and peak into the city’s life and heritage. The tour ends with an authentic Indian lunch in an old haveli – historic mansions usually built around a cool central courtyard and decorated with elaborate frescoes. In the afternoon, a sightseeing tour takes you past the Presidential Palace, the National Parliament, the Gate of India and more. Then, you will visit the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun and the 800 year old Qutub Minar, the world’s tallest brick minaret, which is decorated with intricate calligraphy. Farewell dinner at Bukhara at ITC Maurya, service North West Frontier cuisine. (B, L, D)
