2 Colombo / Pinnawala / Dambulla

This morning after breakfast at the hotel transfer from Colombo to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. As you enter the 25 acre coconut property, do not be surprised to witness baby elephants being bottle fed or moving around freely causing absolutely no harm to anyone. Watch as they feed and take a river bath twice a day for an experience that could never be felt anywhere else on earth! Transfer from Pinnawala to Dambulla, overnight Stay in Dambulla. (B)

3 Dambulla / Trincomalee

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and then transfer to Trincomalee. The city of Trincomalee, houses one of the best natural deep-water ports in the world, has a legacy that has painted history. Enter the granite-built Portuguese fort, resting in the heart of city or head towards the crystal blue sea for an enthralling experience scuba diving, snorkeling or fishing. If adventure is your pick, then head few more kilometers to be ‘whaled’ by the giant fins that crash down the blue waves! Afterward explore the classical-medieval Hindu temple ‘Koneswaram’ enjoy its Dravidian architecture or take a stroll towards the Bhadrakali Amman Temple dedicated to the goddess Kali. Visit Pigeon colonized by rock pigeons the island houses some of the best preserved coral reefs. Before heading back to the hotel, visit the clear sands of Marble Beach. (B)

4 Trincomalee / Dambulla

After breakfast at the hotel transfer to Dambulla. In the city of Dambulla lies a hub which has been treasured by many kings since the 1st century B.C. Today, an icon in the face of Sri Lanka, Dambulla Rock Temple houses some of the most unique drawings in five magnificently constructed cave temples flanking the golden temple of Dambulla. 5 Dambulla / Sigiriya / polonnaruwa / Dambulla

After breakfast this morning transfer to Sigiriya, the 5th century rock citadel of King Kasyapa and World Heritage Site – Sigiriya. Step through the gigantic ‘Lion Paws’ overlooking the symmetrical royal gardens below. Surrounded by ramparts and moats the Lion Rock resembling the mythological ‘City of Gods’ covered by frescoes that relate to Gupta style paintings found in Ajanta caves of India. In the afternoon visit Polonnaruwa a medieval capital and crown jewel of King Parakramabahu I the city remains as proof of ancient culture and heritage blended with religious beliefs. (B)

6 Dambulla / Kandy / Peradeniya / Kandy

After breakfast, travel from Dambulla to Kandy. Experience an ancient Kandyan legacy engraved around its crown jewel, the temple of the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. Continue your journey from Kandy to Peradeniya. First developed as a pleasure garden under royalty and later harmonized by the British, the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya. (B)

7 Kandy / Tea Plantation / Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, begin your day traveling from Kandy to the Tea Plantation. In Sri Lanka, Tea and Tourism are words which cannot be separated. Take a tour to the cold & misty hills covering lush green blankets of tea plants. Step into a tea factory processing the prestigious brand of Ceylon Tea, to observe a rich tradition kept alive. 9 Nuwara Eliya / Yala / Tissamaharama

10 Tissamaharama / Tangalle / Galle / Bentota

This morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards transfer to Tangalle and proceed to Galle. 12 Bentota / Colombo

After breakfast at hotel transfer from Bentota to Colombo. The throbbing metropolis, is the country’s commercial capital.
