1 Arrive Hanoi

Arrival Hanoi; beautiful capital of Vietnam; transfer to your hotel.

2 Hanoi

Hanoi’s cuisine, art and architecture is strongly influenced by its French roots. Sightseeing today includes Ho Chi Minh’s House and Mausoleum (close Mon, Fri & Sep-early Nov), One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature and a walking tour in the Old Quarter. Visit a coffee shop to sample the famous Vietnam coffees. Evening unique experience to visit the night market and try different local street foods together with a local food expert. (B, D)

3 Hanoi / Halong Bay

Morning drive to picturesque Halong Bay, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Embark the Bhaya Classic Cruise, a 20 cabins vessel recreated from the original designs. Reveal in the tranquility of the natural seascape dotted with around 2,000 islets and rocky outcrops. After lunch on board, visit the Vung Vieng fishing village. Overnight onboard Bhaya Classic Cruise. (B, L, D)

4 Halong Bay / Hoi An

Continue sailing across the stunning islets and explore Sung Sot Cave. Later, disembark and transfer to Hanoi Airport for flight to Danang. Arrive Danang, transfer to Hoi An and overnight. (B)

5 Hoi An

Morning attend a cooking class at Mango Restaurant. Join Chef Duc for a private and colorful experience at the local market and an intimate hands-on cooking course at the restaurant. Reward yourself with a wonderful meal at the end of the class. Later depart for a tour at the ancient village of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The colorful shops, houses and temples reflect a diverse heritage, best explored on foot. (B, L)

6 Hoi An / Hue

Depart by private car to Hue, ancient capital of Vietnam. Afternoon visit the Old Imperial City, a vast complex built in the early 19th century, including the Imperial Citadel, Flag Tower, Thai Hoa Palace, Halls of the Mandarins and Hue Royal Antiquities Museum. Evening transfer to the famous Boi Tran Garden House, the first art gallery in Hue, for a candlelight dinner. (B, D)

7 Hue

Morning excursion to a relaxing boat journey on the Perfume River, passing traditional villages. On to the Thien Mu Pagoda, considered the most famous structure in the country. Visit the Imperial Tombs of Minh Mang, Tu Duc and Khai Dinh before returning to your hotel. (B)

8 Hue / Ho Chi Minh City

Morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, visit the Reunification Palace, the Emperor of Jade Pagoda, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Pass by the City Hall and old Opera House, stop at the bustling Ben Thanh Market; discover the local handicrafts. (B)

9 Ho Chi Minh City

Morning transfer to the Saigon Culinary Art Center for a cooking class. The course includes detailed explanations of the history and traditions of Vietnamese cuisine and a hands-on cooking lesson. Afternoon, drive to the outskirts to visit the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels, a 125-mile-long underground network. This tunnel system stretched to the Cambodian border. Evening enjoy dinner at one of the best restaurants in Saigon, the Mandarin Restaurant. (B, D)
